Account Management Basics

Your Pikstream account gives you access to personalized recommendations, watchlists, and more. Here's how to manage your account effectively:

Updating Your Profile Information

To update your profile information:

1. Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner
2. Select "Account Settings" from the dropdown menu
3. Update your information in the "Profile" tab
4. Click "Save Changes" to apply your updates

Email Preferences

You can customize what email notifications you receive:

1. Go to Account Settings > Notifications
2. Toggle the switches for different types of notifications
3. Click "Save Preferences" to apply your changes

Keeping Your Account Secure

Pikstream takes your privacy and security seriously. Here are some tips and settings to help keep your account secure:

Password Security

To change your password:

1. Go to Account Settings > Security
2. Click "Change Password"
3. Enter your current password and your new password
4. Click "Update Password" to save

For best security, we recommend:

• Using a unique password for Pikstream
• Including a mix of letters, numbers, and special characters
• Changing your password periodically

Privacy Settings

You can control what data is collected and how it's used:

1. Go to Account Settings > Privacy
2. Review and adjust your privacy preferences
3. Click "Save" to apply your changes

Deleting Your Account

If you wish to delete your Pikstream account:

1. Go to Account Settings > Privacy
2. Scroll to the bottom and click "Delete Account"
3. Read the information about what deleting your account means
4. Enter your password to confirm
5. Click "Permanently Delete My Account"

If you're experiencing issues with Pikstream, please consider contacting support before deleting your account.

Managing Your Content Lists

Pikstream allows you to create and manage various lists to organize your content:

Creating and Managing Watchlists

To create a new watchlist:

1. Go to your Profile page
2. Select "Watchlists" tab
3. Click "+ Create New Watchlist"
4. Name your list and set privacy options
5. Click "Create"

To add content to your watchlist:

• Find a movie or show you want to save
• Click the bookmark icon or "Add to Watchlist" button
• Select which watchlist to add it to

Favorites and Ratings

Mark content as favorite and rate what you've watched:

• Click the heart icon to add a title to your favorites
• Use the star rating system to rate content you've watched
• Your ratings help improve your personalized recommendations
